Wine is love. It is complex, emotional, relational.

Objective

Create cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay, and pinot noir that not only meant to be drunk, but also to be read. The real love letters are meant to create an emotional and sentimental connection to the wine. These could be considered as a great gift for newlyweds or as perfect conversation starters.

Approach

This is a literal message in a bottle. The real letters of Revolutionary war couple—Harvey and Ethel was the basis for the look and feel of the bottles. I used a custom seal of their initials and laser cut wood to speak to the era and circumstances of the letters.
