Convey the art of decomposition through multiple media and evoke an emotional, sense-arousing response.
Objective
Create a MOMA art book along promotional items that visually communicates decomposition. Design a book that showcases how this topic is defined though typography, composition, time, and photography. Then design promotional items. In this case, the MOMA will be hosting your decomposition exhibition. Along with the book, create a poster, invitations, postcards, business cards, and a website.
Approach
Since the topic had to be unexpected, my designs needed to have that same element of surprise. Therefore, I used unconventional techniques: a painted typeface, burned paper, textiles, and motion photography creating a feeling of dramatic transformation.
